Our festivals and events are among the Midwest’s largest cultural celebrations. Through vibrant gatherings like Cinco de Mayo Omaha, Fiestas Patrias, Las Posadas, and more, we foster cultural pride, professional growth, and a stronger future for Nebraska’s Latino community.
Cinco de Mayo
Drawing visitors from six surrounding states, Cinco de Mayo Omaha is one of the top 3 Cinco de Mayo festivals in the U.S. Attracting over 200,000 attendees and boosting the local economy by $7.5 million, this event strengthens small businesses and fosters growth along historic South 24th Street.
Fiestas Patrias
Our annual September celebration, Fiestas Patrias Omaha, honors the independence of Mexico, El Salvador, and Guatemala. This 3-day, largely Spanish-speaking event brings the community together in an authentic, joyous celebration of Latino heritage.
Las Posadas
In December, join us for our largest networking celebration, Las Posadas. This event brings together community members to connect, enjoy entertainment, and learn more about Casa’s mission in a festive setting with refreshments, raffles, and scholarships.
Business Luncheon
Our newest event, the Business Luncheon, is designed for business leaders and entrepreneurs to connect, share insights, and strengthen ties within South Omaha’s thriving Latino business community. Learn about emerging trends in Nebraska’s fastest-growing business sector.
Día de los Muertos
In partnership with Kiewit Luminarium, we co-host an engaging celebration of Día de los Muertos. This event features a night of cultural activities, dance performances, raffle prizes, and more, honoring the beautiful tradition of remembering loved ones.
Health Fair
Our Health Fair, part of the Cinco de Mayo Omaha festival, provides thousands of attendees with free health screenings, resources, and access to medical professionals. Join us in supporting community health and wellness.
